Hello, my name is Juliette Thibault and I would like to say Thank You for putting this online!!!. To my knowledge, my grandfather Joseph P. Costa and his brother were the original owners and founders of Tex Barrys Coney Island Hot Dogs. I was told the name came from his brother who was in like the street car racing circuit in New England. I hope one day when I am able to carry on the legacy to re-open a store back here in florida where I grew up. I think there had been one in Daytona years ago, but I’m not sure if it is still open.
