Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

merry christmas and happy new year

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! In this most joyous of seasons, The Hotdogman and family would like to take the time to extend our best wishes to all of our friends, both the old and the new; the many wonderful businesses we have had the pleasure of being associated with, and all the wonderful people we have met during our many journeys throughout the years.

We Wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

We have been blessed by the hospitality of many hot dog vendors and other people associated with the hot dog business during our continuing journey. While I would love to list you all, I wouldn’t want to risk missing anyone. If you are reading this, then you most likely were directed here by myself and I thank you for your kindness, understanding, good humor, and for welcoming us to your businesses. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to each and every vendor (all 141 of you) and hot dog business we visited in 2013 and in prior years, and to all the other folks we have done business with too!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all the wonderful people we have met along the way. Our travels took us to California, Florida, Maine, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts for Hot Dog Stories. Whenever we travel, we meet the most wonderful people. Your stories and your company, even though we may never meet again, touch me, Mrs. HDM, and Little Miss in ways you may never know. Thank you for being kind of heart, giving of spirit, and, above all, good natured and fun!

To all our friends, those we have known since childhood to those we’ve made this year, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! It doesn’t matter if we’ve known you for more than forty years or four weeks. Whether we’ve met in person and broken bread together or  we have cultivated a friendship online, your presence in our lives is cherished and we thank you all for being our friends.

To our family, thank you for your continuing love and support, lumps and all. We’ll be sharing Christmas with many of you; to those who we can’t offer salutations of the season in person: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

“I am not alone at all, I thought. I was never alone at all. And that, of course, is the message of Christmas. We are never alone. Not when the night is darkest, the wind coldest, the world seemingly most indifferent. For this is still the time God chooses.”   – Taylor Caldwell

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Hot Dog Stories post without a video. The Hotdogman and the “Hot Dog Stories Family” leave you with this little bit of Christmas cheer: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
